About me

My singing style covers a wide variety including rock, classical, pop and blues, but my forte however is singing swing. My main influences being
Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and Michael Bublẻ.

I have sung at many different venues from Her Majesty’s Theatre in London to local Wine Bars and i also support charity events for Helen Rollason Cancer Charity and many others.

I am always pushing myself to improve my singing and try out different styles and techniques.

Most recently played Tweedle Dum in Alice in wonderland with the Wivenhoe Panto Group. I have been in 'Stone cold' which i played Shelter, Harcourt in 'The country wife' and Sam (lead Male) in wivenhoe panto's 'Monsters rock.
I have participated in many various amateur productions for several years, including South Pacific, Camelot and Wicked West End with Colchester Operatic Society. Played the GRINCH and the  principal ENRIKO’ in a Chicago musical which i co-wrote, 'Down Town Dancing'
I have played Mr Hutchison in Fawlty Towers LIVE, TYBALT in Romeo and Juliet,
FAT SAM in Bugsy Malone,
SCROOGE in A Christmas Carol, MISS NELLY and BUCKLES in Frankenstein the pantomime and GAD in Joseph and his amazing Technicolor dreamcoat. Many sketch shows and film productions including Return of the Forgotten, which was nominated for an award.

I have been involved back stage as well, being stage manager, sound and lighting for school plays.

I was in a band called All revved up, which we played classic hits from the 50's to the present.
I have played the drums since i could hold sticks and been involved in many events which combined all styles of music including Rock, Punk, Jazz, Blues and even African drumming.

I was in a punk band for over two years and played many gigs around Essex
and i have played at Brightlingsea music festival with an African drumming group.

I also taught the cast of ADP some drumming from STOMP, which was a lot of fun for everyone.

I have been in a small orchestra for local company’s and in a concert band touring in Paris, which included
reading drum music.

I have just finished directing Sleeping Beauty for Wivenhoe Panto group which was huge success and we had a full sell out every night.
The last production i produced and directed was 'Dad's Army' back in May 2015. We raised £1000 for Colchester Wounded Soldiers half going to help for Heroes and the other half going to The Royal British Legion. We also won best costume with North East Essex Theatre Guild for Dads Army Live.
Shane Diggens productions is a local group which takes a sitcom and performs it live on stage. Fawlty Towers we done on the 19th and 20th November 2011 at the William Loveless hall, Wivenhoe was our first performance and we had great reviews and wonderful feedback, so much so we performed it again in July 2012 at the Lakeside Theatre (Essex) with an added episode.

I have also directed shows with ADP theatre school Wivenhoe (www.adptheatreschool.com), in which i also star in. I also design all the scenery and make all the stage props for ADP shows.
